Enroll Cell Phone (with Texting)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click the Manage Your Account or Enroll link.

    • Which one you see depends on whether or not you already have a device registered for NetID+.

  2. In the Add a Device section, locate and click on the Add a Phone with Text Messaging tile/button.

  3. Under the Choose your platform heading, use the down arrow to find and select your phone. Then click Continue.

  4. Enter a name for your phone (this is simply so you can identify it later) and click Continue.

  5. Enter your phone number and be sure you check the box for Please check to confirm your phone number. Click Continue, which generates a text message that contains a verification code.

  6. You should receive a text message with a verification code.

  7. Enter the code (from your phone) in the field on the Enter Verification Code page, then click Continue.

  8. You now see the Success! page.

  9. To verify the phone is now listed as a device in the NetID+ application (optional):

    • Go to https://netid-plus.arizona.edu and click Login.

    • If/When prompted, log in with your NetID and password.

    • Click on Manage your Account.

    • The phone you just enrolled should now show in the My Devices section.
